Continuing a strong spring season, D.J. MacIntyre's SLC-6 Music welcomes Kenan Savrun back to the label for his debut single. Hailing from Turkey, but now calling USA home, Kenan Savrun has compiled an impressive resume since arriving on the progressive scene in 2019. Releases via Droid9, Mango Alley and Movement Recordings sit prominently in his discography, while his near two-decade long career as a DJ has seen him share the decks with Alex Niggemann, Artbat, Cid Inc, Nick Warren and Oliver Huntemann. Also finding a comfortable home on SLC-6 Music, the New York resident has delivered three remixes since making his label debut in 2021. Now, following a single for Jelly For The Babies' One Of A Kind imprint to begin the year, Kenan returns to SLC-6 Music with 'Sombra', alongside remixes from Gabo Martin and Indigo Man.

Continuing to showcase the progressive excellence for which he is known, Kenan's 'Sombra' lands as one of his best productions to date. Warm chunky grooves and rolling rhythms set the foundation for ghostly vocal phrasing and wavy arps to work their magic across the dancefloor. Making a welcome return to the label with the first remix is rising talent Gabo Martin. The Rosario resident provides an equally excellent progressive rendition, highlighted by low-slung grooves and a trippier take on the vocal narrative. The release concludes with Indigo Man also returning to the label with two excellent versions of 'Sombra'. The Mexican artist's 'Cosmic' remix takes more of a darker, club-effective approach, while his 'Day' interpretation allows for a greater sense of atmosphere and texture, no doubt perfect for a daytime dancefloor.
